All this kid wants to do is stand!

He is not happy unless he is standing. But his poor chunky little legs can’t support that much baby weight for a long time.  He gets so frustrated when his legs give way and falls on his bum.

Can’t you tell how proud he is to be a “stander”.  I can tell he’s thinking next step crawling, walking, then “I TAKE OVER THE
GAME ROOM.”  You’ve got to have goals.

Big Chris is Standing!

Big Chris likes to stand up!!! He's almost crawling too. He's a little late in crawling compared to Bean and Bob, but he does have some extra weight to hoist off the floor.

Cooking with Beanie- Brownie Bites

Beanie made these yummy treats the other day! They are very sweet and very good, but might make you sick!

Cook up some basic brownie. We like the Betty Crocker plain old Brownie Mix. After it cools, you crumble it up.

Then you mix in a little bit of frosting. Don't use a whole container or you will get really sick.

Then you roll the mixture into meatballs and place on wax paper. Place in the freezer for an hour.

Take them out of the freezer and dip them in some melted white chocolate

Place them in the fridge when you are done and enjoy!

You may need to walk/ run a couple of miles the day after!!!

Dear Christopher,

It turns out you are somewhat like your sister Elizabeth. I think you hate your crib. Elizabeth detested her crib. She was in the big bed by the time she was a year old. You really want to sleep in the big bed. But, dear Christopher, I am afraid that you will magically start crawling and rolling and find your way off the bed. So, I get very little sleep so you can get sleep. I am afraid to leave you alone in the bed, even though there are bed rails everywhere. I don't function well with little sleep. This morning the cat was sleeping in bed with us. I got up and let you continue to sleep with the cat keeping an eye on you. With my lack of sleep, I thought the cat was an adequate babysitter for you. You are in your crib as I write this blog entry. I am hoping you make it through the night in the crib so I can get some more sleep and gain back some better judgment.

Love,
Mom

Christopher has been a bit of a BOOGER!!!

Christopher is not happy unless he is being held or someone is playing with him, CONSTANTLY. Fortunately, my helpers have stepped in to pick up my slack. Christopher is also no longer content with a dumb old rattle to play with. He needs a real working toy. He has already figured out how to close all of the doors on this toy. His new favorite game is to have one of us open everything and he quickly closes all of the doors. Fun! Fun! Fun!
