As you can seen on Sunday, the kids just hung around and watched their word video. On Monday, we went to IKEA. Can you tell they are beat? Monday night and Tuesday morning we built ALL of our Ikea furniture. What do you think?
Here is a Birthday Card Beanie made for her friend Graham's Birthday. She spent a lot of time. I let her use my new Copic markers. Yikes! She was so good with them. She worked so hard to stay in the lines. If anyone is interested she stamped the images with the Studio G Kids stamps that located in the dollar section at Michaels right now. These work great for small hands.
Jan 21- Elizabeth is starting school tomorrow. We were offered a 2 day a week position while we were looking at school next year. Elizabeth loved it so much we grabbed the spot for the rest of the year. She has her backpack already to go for tomorrow. She is sooo excited!
Jan. 22- Bobby has moved to the BIG BOY BED. He is so proud of himself, as you can see. I can't believe he is no longer in the crib. How time flies.
I wasn't going to do it, but I did it anyways. I wasn't going to be like everyone else and put in a picture of the Inaugeration. But then I decided I would like the kids to be able to look back and recognize the day. Anyways it is a picture of the event taking place on my little tv above my desk area. The kids were asleep when I took the picture. Dan was working in his office and I was working in mine...
I am the "Juicenist" mom ever! Wow, what a compliment. We bought our Jack LaLanne juicer today. Yum! We had Apple, orange, carrot juice. Bobby drank 2 glasses. Elizabeth is not so sure of the carrots I put in the juice. Even though you can't taste them...
We went to Disney World for a few days. So I am going to catch up real quick, since I have to go catch up on my laundry and bill paying! On Thursday, Elizabeth had to help everybody get their RV's all hooked up. She is quite the helper. Friday is a family portrait at Tusker House. The kids love their eggs and bacon. Saturday is a picture of Elizabeth drinking milk and oj at Crystal Palace for breakfast. Fortunately, this did not make her ill! Sunday is a picture of us trying to get ready and pack up and leave. Enjoy!
Here we are playing outside after our run. It is quite cool today. Had to put long pants on the kids and make them wear shoes! Elizabeth took the picture of Bobby and me. She is becoming quite proficient with the point and shoot camera. Poor Elizabeth also had an accident and fell off her motorcycle. Don't worry, though, she is going to be ok!
LAUNDRY... Somedays I feel that the laundry is neverending. How can a 3 year that walks around the house naked half the time, go through so many clothes? It's beyond me. I am slightly scared of the teenage years to come.
"Mommy, Daddy we're watching Cramer" This is what we heard from Elizabeth after dinner tonight. They were playing in her room watching Cramer. Stock Market Moguls in the making. The only problem is when a commercial comes she's afraid Cramer won't come back on the tv!
The Beach, Again. Today we built sand castles. Not an easy chore with an 18 month old and a 3 year old. They both wanted to be the giant and topple the sand castle. Here is a picture of one of them before the trampling.
We went to the beach again today. A very nice lady who was walking by us while we were playing with the shells asked if she could take a picture of all three of us. So this will be today's picture of the day, along with Beanie's feet and our names written in the sand. Elizabeth had a lot of fun writing in the sand. Bobby had more dun playing in the waves. It was hard to get them to leave today.
It's been a long time, but here is a new episode of Craft Time with Beanie. In this Episode, Beanie shows her audience how to stamp and color the stamped image. She uses Studi G kids stamps from Michaels. Enjoy!
“Please don’t take my pants off.” This is what Elizabeth stated to the nurse in front of the everyone in the waiting room today. She was very adamant and would not leave the waiting room until she received the appropriate answer. They were so happy to play “dress up” at the doctors office. Who knew all I had to do was give them a gown to make the doctors office fun!
Today I took the kids to the zoo. They love animals. We had so much fun. Bobby refused to ride in his stroller. Elizabeth adn I had a lot of trouble getting him away from the bird exhibits, especially the EMU. He threw quite a fit. Elizabeth loved watching the 2 baby Jaguars. After the zoo, we stopped at a Local Scrapbooking Store. Elizabeth was allowed to buy stickers fo the animals she saw at the zoo. She did very well and the lady at the store complimented her behavior. We then finished our field trip off with a trip to McDonalds.
We went to Disney World back in December for Elizabeth's 3rd Birthday. Uncle Jon was able to meet us there on Saturday. We had sooo much fun. Here they are at the Hoop dee doo Review. Jon is such a sweetheart, he got the kids washboards and spoons for Christmas. Thank you so much...
I took the kids to the beach again today. What can I say, they love it, I love it, and it wears them out. We took another long walk. I finally have to beg them to turn around. I am so scared they will walk until they can't go any further. Then I'll have about 55 pounds of toddler to carry back.
They spent a lot of time collecting shells, EVERY SINGLE SHELL...
I took the kid sto the beach to day without Dan. They are so good at the beach. They just love to play in the sand and walk on the beach. When Elizabeth went down to get water from the Ocean I noticed a lot of dead and half dead fish washing up. They were about 8 to 10 inches long. I told her not to go near the water, good thing I did. A little bit later we noticed a lot of thrashing in the water near the shore. A shark was chasing all of the little fish up onto the beach. The kids had fun watching it from a safe distance.
I was playing with taking RAW images with the camera. Shaggy cat was my subject. It looks pretty neat but I don't have the time to convert the RAW images over. I think I'll stick with the easy way.
The four of us went to the beach today. We all Love the Beach. What a gorgeous day for January. The only mishap was Bobby falling down the first 3 stairs on the boardwalk. Fortunately, my legs broke his fall. We topped the morning off withe Luch at Carvel!
